Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and optimisation of product solutions for map and POI data to improve usability, accuracy, and competitiveness.
- Lead day-to-day coordination of the international mapping project, including planning, progress tracking, quality monitoring, and timely delivery.
- Manage and guide a small team of POI Data Annotators, providing clear direction, quality feedback, and support to boost team efficiency.
- Identify workflow, platform, and process gaps, summarise recurring issues into actionable improvements, and provide timely feedback to stakeholders.
- Contribute ideas to enhance POI data quality, map workflows, and user experience for ride-hailing and delivery scenarios.
- Consolidate project learnings and best practices into SOPs and standardised documentation to improve scalability and consistency.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in GIS, POI data, map QA, mapping operations, or related fields.
- Experience in project coordination, mentoring, or supervising a small team is a plus.
- Familiarity with map data standards, POI quality, navigation-related workflows, and GIS concepts.
- Hands-on experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar GIS / vector data processing tools is preferred.
- Multilingual: proficient in Mandarin (for China stakeholders), English, and Malay (for local teams).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify gaps and propose practical improvements.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive — balancing hands-on execution with strategic initiative.
